Site Engineer
Avon
Up to £53,000 Plus Benefits
This is a very exciting opportunity to join a consistently growing food manufacturer in Avon. You will work on a shift rotation pattern and at times, be the sole engineer on site! You will have responsibility for Engineering activities and standards across the site. Delivering the highest standard of engineering support is of the upmost importance whilst working closely with other functions supporting joint goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and resolve factory breakdowns.
* Provide and develop your own expertise knowledge on all site equipment.
* Audit recording of materials, parts use and labour hours worked.
* Audit the food safety and quality processes of manufacturing sites and suppliers.
* Ability to resolve any issues quickly and effectively.
* Maintain health and safety standards ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Policies and procedures for employees and contractors.
* Ensure risk assessments have been completed and signed off by all contractors.
Requirements
* Electrical Biased.
* Food manufacturer/production experience.
* Electrical engineering degree or the equivalent qualifications and updated certifications.
* Ability to work under pressure during challenges and breakdowns.
* Able to work in a team and independently.
