Position: Maths Teacher Location: NN2 Pay: £30,000 (subject to Teacher Pay Scale) Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Maths Teacher eager to elevate your career? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual with a proven track record in Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly with teenagers who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This role involves full planning, preparation, and marking responsibilities, starting as a long-term placement with the exciting potential to become a permanent position. The school has taken a broader and more flexible approach to the curriculum so that it is not only tailored to the needs, skills, and interests of the learners but also provides a balance of academic, artistic, cultural, vocational, and civic elements. The school extends learning beyond the confines of the classroom to build essential independent skills, foster teamwork, and promote community collaboration through work experience, community work, and school trips. If you’re ready to inspire and support our amazing students Requirements: -Previous experience as a Math Teacher. -Previous experience in SEN setting. -An Enhanced DBS on the update service. -Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). -Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting student well-being. -Flexibility, adaptability, and resilience in a dynamic educational setting.
