Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Channel Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will focus on driving growth within the Retail Multiples and Maintenance, Repair, Operations (MRO) sales channels, while also supporting our current distributors in the Electrical Wholesale industry. You will play a vital role in expanding our market presence and optimising the performance of our distribution partners at a national and local level, combining business development skills with hands-on sales and marketing support. Key Responsibilities: • Sales Channel Development : Identify opportunities, implement growth strategies in the Retail Multiples and MRO channels, and collaborate closely with partners to expand our reach. • Strategic Account Management : Build up, cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with key partners within various layers of their organisation, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. • Data Analysis & Monitoring : Collect and analyse data for the preparation of products and promotional proposals and track sales performance. • Communication : Maintain ongoing communication with key partners through various platforms including face-to-face meetings, emails, and video calls. • Distributor Support : Engage with distributors in the Electrical Wholesale industry to inspire and assist them in stocking and promoting our products, providing the tools and resources they need for success. • Training and Merchandising : Support distributor sales teams through training sessions, merchandising support, and in-field activities to help boost product sales. • Events and Demonstrations : Participate in trade shows, conduct product demonstrations, and attend events to enhance brand visibility and engagement. Who We’re Looking For We are seeking a self-driven, organised individual to play a pivotal role in our team driving our business growth and creating new market opportunities within the Retail Multiples and MRO sales channels. • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in business development or key account management, with a proven track record of success. • Experience in driving growth with key customers in the Retail Multiples and MRO channels desirable. • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, strategic thinking and negotiation. • Attributes: Resilient, adaptable, with a passion for building relationships and driving business growth. Able to work independently as well as part of a team. • Technical Requirements: Proficient in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. • Driving License: Essential.
