Senior Logistics Co-Ordinator

NES Fircroft are supporting one of their O&G clients in Great Yarmouth with a Senior Logistics Co-ordinator role. This is a permanent position and has a major focus on shipping logistics, therefore we are looking for an individual that has extensive knowledge within import / exports & dangerous goods. Key responsibilities: Creation of despatch notes for equipment despatched Creation of Import commercial invoice & clearance instructions Creation of Export commercial invoices, despatch notes, cargo summary tickets Liaise with freight forwarders for quotations and to ensure efficient shipping of subsea equipment to worldwide destinations Obtain export and import entries to complete logistical files required to satisfy audit requirements Provide logistical knowledge to all parties on site and identify means of shipping equipment Liaise with all Warehouse and Logistics colleagues to ensure the efficient and accurate control of imports and exports, confirming full compliance with company and legislative requirements Liaise with colleagues globally in relation to shipments and document control in international locations Hyperlink and manage all import, export, and domestic documentation to comply with standardised record keeping Check and validate all freight invoices Assisting with internal Import/Export auditing where appropriate Assist in the out of hours rota Creation of Purchase Orders to facilitate freight invoices Requirements:                       Knowledge of Export Licence control Knowledge of all import regimes i.e. IPR / RGR / Duty Paid.
