HR Assistant
Location: Hybrid - Home working and office based (Rowley Regis)
Black Country Housing Group (BCHG) is seeking a dedicated HR Assistant who will play a crucial role in providing exceptional HR service to our colleagues. This position requires a strong focus on administration, Recruitment and pre-employment checks all while upholding the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.??

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate pre-employment checks, such as DBS checks, reference requests, and employment history verification, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new colleagues.??
- Accurately set up new starters on HR systems (e.g., People Hub, Access) and ensure data integrity during transitions.??
- Provide administrative support to HR colleagues by managing Purchase Order’s, ensuring payment terms are met.??
- Manage and respond to reference requests and maintain shared HR and Jobs email accounts.??
- Provide administrative support to HR colleagues including but not limited to production of letters and documents and file management ensuring GDPR compliance at all times.???
