Talented Quantity Surveyor required with a keen eye for detail.
We are using all the avenues we have at our disposal to resource an experienced Quantity Surveyor. We represent a main contractor who offers a first class building service to the prime central London residential market. The company enjoys a gilded history with an impressive array of past schemes that form its portfolio of new build, restoration, refurbishments and fit out projects. They specialise in heavy structural alterations to grade 1 and 2 listed building, incorporating exquisite materials, opulent design and installing highly developed bespoke fine-finishes to zero tolerances.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be site based on a £25m commercial cut and carve refurbishment scheme. Commercial duties will include Subcontract procurement / management of subcontract accounts, costing of direct labour, monthly valuations; profit planning, identification and valuation of variations, detailed monthly cost / value reporting.
We are under strict instructions to provide a Quantity Surveyor who meets the following criteria;
* Ideally the Quantity Surveyor will come from main contracting background.
* Minimum 5 years in a Quantity Surveying role
* Capable of working with minimal supervision.
* Good understanding of JCT form of contracts
* Successful career history to date.
* Minimum of HNC
