Our client is a leading EV powertrain producer and are currently searching for a talented engineer to join their team and play a crucial role on innovative team projects. What you’ll be doing As a Chief Mechanical Engineer, you’ll join a team of ambitious engineers and work on a broad base of fast-paced projects, ensuring their successful delivery whilst meeting timescales. You’ll bring your innovation to propose solutions to complex problems and challenging scenarios and have ample opportunity to rapidly progress your design and analysis skills. Your day to day might look a little like this: Developing new methods to solve industry problems, generating market leading solutions Proposing innovative R&D projects to the CTO Implementing the company’s technical processes to ensure it is executed to the highest quality Managing multi person/cross functional projects to achieve budgeted margin and maintain an excellent relationship with customers Delivering technical work packages and whole projects A bit about you Ideally, you’ll be based in the UK. The perfect candidate with have high levels of competency in design and CAE analysis of rotating systems as well as evidence of successfully executing system integration projects. A few other key skills our client is looking for: Degree educated High level of expertise or appreciation in some of the key software packages within drivetrain engineering (SMT MASTA, Romax, Creo, UGNX, Catia, Amesim, Recurdyn, Matlab, Altair and Ansys packages) Ability to collaborate effectively for better results Experience managing commercial opportunities to a successful conclusion Excellent communication skills to be used both internally and externally Want to hear more?
