Class 1 HGV Driver

We have temp to perm positions available for professional drivers. The job will involve general haulage work starting from Tilbury driving a Class 1 HGV curtain side although some container work may sometimes be required so experience on both would be desirable. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate Class 1 HGV vehicles to deliver goods to various locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery schedules. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of goods, adhering to weight restrictions and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery statuses and any issues. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.Qualifications: Valid Class 1 HGV license. CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification. Previous experience as a Class 1 HGV Driver required Strong knowledge of driving regulations and road safety. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
