Learning Support Assistant Location: Tooting, SW London Work Type: Part-Time Start Date: ASAP and January 2024 Setting: Mainstream Primary School (Early Years - Nursery Age) A mainstream primary school in Tooting is looking for a part-time Learning Support Assistant to join their dedicated Early Years team. The role involves providing support to nursery-age children with special educational needs (SEN). Key Responsibilities: Support children in nursery with SEN, helping them access learning and social activities. Work closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support for children with additional needs. Assist with personal care and ensure the well-being of all children in the class. Help create a nurturing and inclusive environment that encourages children's development and independence. Requirements: Experience working with young children, ideally in an Early Years or Nursery setting. Experience supporting children with special educational needs is essential. Patience, compassion, and a genuine desire to help children succeed.
