We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children and a strong commitment to their development and well-being. You will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities, ensuring the safety and security of the children, and working collaboratively with parents and colleagues to support each child's unique needs.  Nursery Practitioner - Teaching Assistant - TA - Education and Training -  Early Years - EYFS     Position: Nursery Practitioner  Location:  Basildon Salary Scale: £85-£120 per day   Contract Type: Full-time   Start Date: September or ASAP if available  Key Responsibilities:  As a Nursery Practitioner you will plan and deliver stimulating and age-appropriate activities for children aged 0-5 years.  Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.  As a Nursery Practitioner you will observe and assess children’s development, maintaining accurate records and contributing to individual learning plans.  Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, fostering a supportive community atmosphere.  As a Nursery Practitioner you will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and nursery policies, including safeguarding and health and safety standards.  Requirements:  A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Early Years Educator, or equivalent).  Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.  Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to childcare.  What We Offer:  Competitive pay rates  Access to CPD training library with over £8000 worth of courses, at GSL we support your professional development!  A supportive and collaborative work environment  Opportunities for continuous professional development and advancement  An opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young lives  Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that  successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.   If you are interested in this role, please click 'apply now' to submit your full and up-to-date CV, and one of our dedicated consultants will be in touch within 24 hours
