Salary: £26,209-£41,773depending on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week, Term time only
The role:
We are currently seekingScience Teacher to join a small independent School in Cannock supporting students aged 11-19 with SEMH needs.
The School offer avery broad and balanced curriculum that enables pupils to undertake examinations and gain qualifications including GCSEs, BTECs and functional skills, andalso have access to a wide range of adventurous subjects which include water sports, mountain biking, archery, horse-riding etc.
As a Science Teacher within the school, you will be providing professional learning and development for all pupils through establishing personalised learning routes.
You will be playing your part in helping the school achieve its aims and values and will be delivering an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students with support from teaching staff.

Key Duties:
- To contribute to the delivery and development of the curriculum, having regard to the educational, physical and social needs of the students within a learning environment.
- To work collaboratively with other members of staff as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- To maintain and use short-, medium- and long-term plans in delivering the curriculum.
- To set, monitor and review personalised targets that will optimise learning for each individual.
- To monitor, assess, review and report on the progress and work of students to parents, team members, senior staff, examination and funding bodies through reports and identified meetings as directed and as is required through school policies and procedures.
- To maintain knowledge through training and research where appropriate and take responsibility for own professional development.
- To develop lesson plans analysing and self-reflecting on the outcomes.
- Ideally QTS or QTLS however we will consider candidates with Level 4/5 teaching qualifications
- Experience of teaching Science
