We are partnered with a leading main contractor with operations across the Nordic regions delivering world-class projects across a variety of sectors looking for experienced HSE Managers for a Data Centre. As HSE Manager/Officers you will be developing, implementing, and managing health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure robust environment, health, & safety measures on site, ensuring a secure working environment, leading the team in achieving safety goals & objectives.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

Lead the development of HSE leadership & culture in the workplace.

Implement HSE and wellbeing policy in the organisation.

Ensure full compliance with local and national HSEQ legislation pertaining to the project construction phase and offices.

Develop project-specific health & safety strategies, programmes and plans in partnership with Group HSEQ.

Coordinate HSE programme elements addressing site access, security, project induction, first aid, welfare, and emergency arrangements.

Coordinate and manage on-site HSE resources.

Communicate and co-ordinate the adoption of industry best practices in health, safety & environment on all projects.

Establish a process of active HSE monitoring through audits and inspections of site conditions and contractor activities.

Monitor and report on HSE performance and challenges using predefined leading and lagging health and safety performance indicators.

Influence employee work practices through dialogue, relationship building and behavioural safety coaching.

Support projects throughout their lifecycle from proposal, through design, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, handover, and operational stages.

Provide specialist health, safety & environment, and wellbeing advice to management and project teams.

Ensure appropriate and effective emergency response, case management, incident investigation and reporting mechanisms are in place to facilitate learning from incidents (LFI).

Significant years of experience in HSE Management with a main contractor background in the Data Centre sector.

Degree in Health and Safety Management or related field.

NEBOSH qualification and membership of IOSH or equivalent is desirable.

Knowledgeable in updated HSE regulations, standards & best practices.

Proven verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in HSE software & tools.
