Communicating regularly with contract managers, other finance personnel including financial controller and regional financial controller. Establishing good working relationships with operations teams. Plan for the short and medium term and ensure this is communicated to and agreed with their line manager. Complete the management accounts in a timely manner and alert senior management if there are any concerns or issues around this. Preparation of management accounts and budgets. All work is reviewed by the finance manager. Reporting accurate financial information that will be used for business decisions. Understanding the terms of the contract, when indexation should be applied, what sort of cost needs to be accrued and whether deferred income needs to be released. Financial management reporting of simple water contracts. The role supports operations and project managers to achieve financial targets and supports operations and project managers in preparation of budgets and forecasts The role supports all contracts in their quest to improve efficiency and increase sustainability. What we're looking for: AAT qualified Experienced in preparation of management accounts, statutory accounts, budget and forecasts, Balance sheet reconciliations and review An individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide industry-leading customer service to all internal and external customers.
