Position: Head of Manufacturing Engineering Location: Windlesham, Surrey, UK Company: Autoscan UK Limited Salary: Competitive and Dependent upon experience Autoscan UK Limited is a leading provider of quality assurance and inspection services to the automotive industry. We're currently seeking an experienced manufacturing management professional, to join us at one of our customer sites based in Windlesham, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity to work on some exciting projects with real bespoke engineering design at the forefront. The position is expected to be a temp to perm opportunity after an initial 6 month period, and will be based full time on site. The below outlines the key responsibilities the role will consist of - Requirements Support current and new model activities.  Lead team to create production process and facility strategies, guide and support in translating those into concrete action plans and execute. Deliver the tools required to enable the manufacturing process of our world-leading car models. Evaluate process and coordinate activities with the team to improve production quality. Develop and standardise work instruction for each production process. Support Cycle Time and line balancing, trials and training activities for the new process. Schedule Team activities to provide manufacturing deliverables that meet required specifications within timescales and budgets as well as other KPIs. Lead / support activities to achieve target quality and dimensional accuracy - from su-assembly to finished vehicle. Lead / support the Manufacturing Engineering Team to create 2D concepts, layouts, designs for tooling and fixtures, plant installation, assembly cells, manning, etc - obtain cost estimations and obtain approval for budget. Provide input to the Manufacturing Engineering Team to support feasible design solutions with regard to manufacturing, assembly and quality control process.  Assess proposed design /design changes to ensure no production issues related to Quality, cost and delivery, create plan for process and facility change and execute in time for change implementation.🤝 Stay Connected: Follow us on  to stay updated on the latest news and job openings at Autoscan UK Limited.
