IT Technician

Role: IT Technician Location: East Cheshire Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 DOE We are currently looking to recruit a 1st Line Technician to join our clients busy service desk in an MSP environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to clients face-to-face and via remote networking. Responsibilities: Provide 1st Line IT Support to a variety of industries Occasional on-site support Diagnose hardware and software issues Work within SLA's Provide a high level of support Manage and resolve tickets efficiently Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues Provide or update documentation to help with processes Prioritising and managing many open cases at one timeTechnical and personal requirements: Office 365 Administration Knowledge of basic networking inc protocols Antivirus / Security platforms Windows Operating Systems and Server support Knowledge of Virtualisation - Citrix, VMWare or Hyper-V Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills Good communication skills Ability to work well in a team Ability to provide step-by-step technical help and adviceBenefits: Company van provided Fuel card / mileage covered Free parking on site 28 days annual leave Collaborative team environment Great pension schemeIf this role is of interest to you, please apply for immediate consideration and interview.
