We have a number of exciting opportunities across our Quality function, and we are looking for experienced Quality Engineers who have a background within any of the following disciplines; Production Science Engineering Manufacturing As a Quality Engineer you will deliver Quality technical assistance in support of AWE Programmes, applying Quality methods, tools and techniques. Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have some of the following: Proven track record of technical delivery and continuous improvement. Technical awareness of product/domain. Following Company processes and ensuring Management System is kept up to date. Engineering aptitude. Problem solving skills. Analytical capability. Key Responsibilities: Support delivery of technical assessments using appropriate methodologies and contributing to capability development. Attend design/technical/task reviews, defect reviews and stakeholder meetings as required to ensure Quality is considered at all stages. Effective stakeholder management, engaging others in order to complete the tasks. Identify and support opportunities for cost savings, efficiency and business improvement. The Company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs. Important things you need to know: You will need to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role. This will be funded by AWE. The nature of our work does mean you need to be a British Citizen who has been resident in the UK for the past 5 years in order to apply for SC clearance and 10 years for DV.
