Job Requirements / Description
Bionical Solutions are a UK, Europe and US based pharmaceutical and healthcare business with head office based in Willington, South Derbyshire. At Bionical we pride ourselves on giving the very best care to our clients striving to exceed expectations. We have an opportunity for a Full-Stack Developer to join our ranks. But what do we actually do? You would be working for a business that's creating bespoke applications to identify and educate patients in need of treatment, providing nursing services that allow patients to live to their full potential and advising healthcare professionals to prescribe the best medication on the market. Who are you? You have experience working with both internal and external stakeholders and you do not shy away from deadlines. The development team at Bionical is a tight knit group, so you will be completely fine working as a team but independently too. Due to the scale of some of the projects and the need to have someone hit the ground running, this role would be more suitable to someone with some commercial experience. However, we are not looking for a finished article but rather confidence in your ability along with commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer. It goes without saying that you are analytical and willing to go above and beyond. Not only will you be working with some of the biggest ICBs in the NHS, but you will be working on internal projects at Bionical as well. We are happy to accommodate hybrid working. Most of the team works from the office 1 day a week together, but others live far enough away we only see them on Teams most weeks so fully remote is possible for the right person, but you must be engaged with the rest of the team and happy to communicate. What is the job like? You will have experience with C# .NET Framework and SQL Server, and you will be part of a project team focused on delivering client led projects as well as further developing existing products. You will get to have your hand in products that really shape the healthcare industry. Our market-leading data collection, management and reporting solutions for Public Health, spanning Smoking Cessation, Weight Management and Social Prescribing services. Established over 15 years ago, our suite of programs, including QuitManager, HealthManager and National Referral System (NRS), have been supporting hospital, in-patient, outpatient and community clinics across UK and Ireland. We use ASP.NET Web Forms and MVC for building our application interfaces. Now you understand our tech stack, you know what you need to be proficient in to do the job at Bionical Solutions. On the flipside of this, we are also realists. We appreciate you may not exactly match what we're looking for but have used similar frameworks or languages. If you have, please feel free to get in touch so we can have a conversation. This is a great opportunity to work for a company that are shaping the healthcare industry with their digital products. If you have read all this and fancy hearing more, get in touch or apply now! At Bionical Solutions, we value having a diverse workforce and welcome applications from anyone able to demonstrate their suitability for the role. We recruit without regard to age, disability, gender reassignment, marital or civil partner status, pregnancy or maternity, race, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation.
