Class 2 Driver

Job Title: Class 2 Driver Location: Exeter Salary: £16 per hour Hours: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:15pm Employment Type: 12 week Temporary to Permanent Job Description: Apollo Recruit is seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our team in Exeter. As a Class 2 Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of recyclable materials to designated locations. Responsibilities: Safely operate and drive Class 2 vehicles to transport recyclable materials to various destinations. Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure its roadworthiness. Load and unload recyclable materials onto and from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of the cargo. Follow safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents, injuries, or damage to property. Requirements: Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license. Current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). Digital Tachograph Card. Proven experience as a Class 2 Driver. Strong communication skills. Excellent driving record with no serious traffic violations. Physical stamina and strength to handle loading and unloading of materials. Flexibility to work overtime.
