Finance Manager

We're partnering with a highly regarded hotel in Reading that has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join their finance team. You must have previous hospitality / hotel experience to be considered for this role. Finance Manager - Responsibilities Oversee the daily running of the finance team, providing financial support to senior managers and department heads Ensure financial controls are adhered to in line with corporate standards Supervise key areas such as cost control, income audit, accounts payable/receivable, and more Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accurate general ledger postings Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and analysis Use financial data trends and market insights to recommend actions that maximize returns Support external and statutory audits as needed Finance Manager - Required Experience Prior experience in hotel accounting Experience with financial software such as Opera/Microsoft Dynamics, or similar Strong knowledge of finance, budgeting, and accounting processes Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage a finance team Finance Manager - The Package Salary - £35,000 28 days holiday (rising to 33 with service) Discounted global room rates for you, family, and friends Employee recognition programs Ongoing learning and development opportunities Pathways for career progression and internal transfers This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is looking for both professional growth and a healthy work-life balance.
