The role will mainly involve managing a high performing team, ensuring the successful operation of our three outlets, and continuing to uphold our great levels of customer service. Our team is one of the largest F&B teams in the National Trust and we are the highest grossing site in the London & South East Region meaning it is an excellent opportunity for someone to grow their career in this industry. The role reports into the Senior F&B Manager on site and there is no evening work. What you'll be doing As Food and Beverage Assistant Manager, youll be working closely with the Food and Beverage Manager. Youll be helping to look after the entire operation, keeping consistently high standards in the team, in the outlets, and in the food and drink we prepare and serve. Youll always have an eye on ways to improve service and standards for our visitors. Youll support the team to help build a great place to work. This could include helping with recruiting and training new people or developing the team. Youll make sure that the team follow all relevant legislation and National Trust policies. Youll be setting and achieving financial targets to increase income and profits. This could be by driving sales through controlling resources and achieving the best possible customer service. Well give you an induction that fits the job, and training in allergens and food safety, plus any mentoring needed to help you in your role. Who we're looking for Wed love to hear from you if youre: Used to achieving outstanding customer service in a similar environment. Agood leader of people, skilled in setting personal objectives and giving feedback. Experienced with budgets to increase income and control costs (including managing stock and waste).
