Company The business we are representing is a leading distributor of instantly recognisable branded health and beauty products. Over recent years the business has developed a strong presence across the Grocery, Convenience, Pharmacy and Wholesale channels. Their success and excellent culture has been recognised with a number of prestigious awards. The business has seen extensive growth in recent years and as a result they have establish themselves as a leading supplier across the categories they operate. The business is now seeking a talented Brand Manager to manage a portfolio of healthcare brands and drive their growth. Responsibilities The business is seeking a dynamic, ambitious and highly motivated Brand Manager: Developing the company’s Brands in the market; Working with our agency to develop creative executions for the brand in the UK including OOH and digital; Managing all PR & sponsorship activities; Taking the Brand marketing lead on agreed new product launches, delivering on time and on budget; Assisting with the management of all Brand expenditure; Working with the category manager for thorough analytics of all marketing activity, measuring effectiveness and optimising campaigns. Key objectives include; Collaborate with the brand owner’s Country Manager and your colleagues to develop marketing and trade marketing plans that align with brand objectives. Ensure a thorough understanding of your product categories to spot growth opportunities. Analyse past and current competitor activity to identify insights and opportunities for brand plans. Take charge of developing, executing, and reporting on trade marketing plans that meet brand objectives. Assist your fellow Brand Manager in creating briefs for advertising, media, point of sale, and packaging design agencies, while working closely with them to ensure activities align with the brief. Oversee the implementation of marketing and trade marketing plans through: Developing trade marketing plans alongside National Account Managers. Designing and executing brand strategies and activities. Providing clients with monthly and quarterly business updates on brand progress and performance. Monitoring monthly budget expenditures with clients and specific trade channels. Coordinate with logistics and colleagues to ensure the continuity of supply. Create and maintain customer presentations, tailored in partnership with sales managers such as National Account Managers and Pharmacy Heads. Support the sales teams with brand updates and marketing expertise during customer meetings. Take responsibility for all sales and profit forecasts as agreed in the annual objectives. Be ready to take on any additional reasonable tasks related to the overall job as needed. Requirements To be considered for this role, you should be currently operating at Brand Manager level, with relevant and recent marketing experience in a consumer-facing role. A strong understanding of the grocery and/or pharmacy trade sectors is preferred, along with experience in Health & Beauty, OTC, or licensed medicines. Familiarity with highly regulated markets is advantageous. A recognised marketing qualification, such as CIM, is essential, and a marketing degree is preferred. Location This is a hybrid working role, ideally the successful candidate would be able to visit the companies London based once a week.
