ROLE: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) LOCATION: Leeds / Wakefield START DATE: ASAP Are you an experienced educator ready to take on a new challenge? As an HLTA, you will provide high-quality support to both groups and individual students, fostering an inclusive learning environment in a Mainstream school setting. Responsibilities: Delivering targeted support to students with a variety of learning needs and behavioural challenges. Assisting teachers in planning and implementing effective learning strategies. Leading small group sessions and providing 1:1 intervention as necessary. Supporting the assessment of student progress and development. The ideal candidate will: Have prior experience in a teaching assistant or educational support role. Be skilled at working independently while also collaborating effectively with educators. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Hold a degree or equivalent qualification level. Be a confident, resilient, and caring individual dedicated to advancing your career in education and taking on a higher-level role.
