Join our team as a Full-Time Support Worker at Bridge House, Kemsley, Kent, You'll be part of a team of 11 other carers providing 24-hour support to 5 adults with learning difficulties.
At Bridge House, we assist service users with their daily activities, enabling them to lead fulfilling and independent lives. You'll support them with tasks such as cooking, cleaning, planning their day, and exploring local amenities and attractions. Additionally, you'll provide emotional support, helping individuals with relationship matters, future planning, personal budgeting, and job searching.

Qualification and Experience required
We seek individuals with a sincere passion for caring for others, and prior experience is not required. We offer training and opportunities for career advancement as you develop. However, possessing professional or personal experience in delivering care, especially with children or adults with learning difficulties, would be advantageous.
If you lack a Care Certificate, we will arrange certification for you during your induction.
Additionally, the Support Worker role has straightforward requirements:
- Competent in written English
- Basic numeracy skills
- Driven and enthusiastic
Support Worker shifts
The role of Support Worker is full time at 37.5 hours per week with shifts. You will be required to work a mix of early and late shifts, some weekends and some bank holidays. This is not an overnight role. Early and late shift times are as follows:
- Early: 7:30am to 3pm
- Late: 2:30pm to 10pm
