SOC Analyst

A chance to work for a managed IT and cybersecurity provider specialising in industries such as finance, health care, and payments, offering a range of services such as managed security, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity consulting. You will be working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) to monitor and respond to security incidents. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong technical background, experience in SOC operations, and an interest in cybersecurity. Shift Pattern: Tuesday to Saturday, 1pm to 9pm UK Time Key Responsibilities: Support a 24/7/365 SOC, monitor security tools, and provide Tier 1 and 2 responses to security incidents. Respond to internal and external threats, coordinating with stakeholders to recommend mitigation strategies. Conduct incident analysis, determine if critical systems or data are affected, and provide remediation advice. Handle threat hunting, incident triage, malware reverse engineering, and network threat investigations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research threats and implement security solutions.
