Mechanical Technician - Inverurie

PE Global is recruiting a Mechanical Technician for our multinational oil and gas client based in Inverurie. The role is an initial 9 month contract. Responsibilities: • Follow blueprints, diagrams, and instructions to accurately assemble products. • Ensure cleanliness and follow designs/procedures. • Monitor materials and products for defects. • Guide and support team members. • Support on-time delivery, schedule attainment, and quality. • Keep the work area safe, organised, and clean following 5S and LEAN principles. • Support new techniques, products, and machinery purchases. • Engage in daily briefings and discuss potential issues. • Complete tasks to meet targets set by the Cell Leader. • Inform the Cell Leader of any assembly disruptions. Requirements: • Have a background in a mechanical based profession • Ability to operate basic hand and power tools • Forklift and overhead crane certificates (Desirable) • Working knowledge within an assembly & manufacturing environment (Desirable) Please note PE Global cannot assist with sponsorship for any potential candidates.
