The Opportunity As a result of our continued growth nationwide and new Residential Heating contracts in the London area, we are looking to bring on a number of Plumbers who are interested in undergoing training in the maintenance and repair of HIUs (Heating Interface Units), and to eventually become specialist Energy & Asset Management Engineers that will work with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility over such contracts. In this position you will be involved in PPM and reactive maintenance for HIUs across multiple sites in your designated patch, and you will have the opportunity to pick up additional work through overtime. You will also play a part in installing and commissioning HIUs at new projects, and gradually developing your knowledge about other Sustainable Energy technologies used across the business. The Role Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager you will be responsible for: * Delivering Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance across multiple sites * Actively installing, commissioning, maintaining and repairing HIUs * Providing technical assistance to clients, contractors and work colleagues within sphere of operation and fulfilling customer service requirements while meeting QHSE objectives * Ensuring statutory and mandatory inspections are satisfactorily carried out and documented in line with the company’s management system * Accurately maintaining and submitting relevant documentation and records as required * Undertaking subcontractor management where necessary * Responding to issues as part of a callout rota Skills/Experience: * Plumbing/Plumbing & Heating qualification or apprenticeship-trained * Basic electrical knowledge advantageous * Previous experience in maintenance & repair work for plumbing and/or heating systems * Previous HIU experience desirable but not essential * Full UK driving licence The Package * Salary negotiable DOE * Vehicle and fuel card * Contributory Company Pension Scheme * Non-contributory death-in-service insurance * Employee Assistance Programme * 25 Days Holiday plus 8 days bank holidays. * Additional holidays awarded in line with length of service * Option to purchase/sell additional holidays * Onsite gym/wellbeing centre at our Blackburn Head Office * Discounted gym membership across the UK * EV charging points where possible * Cycle to work scheme Applications will be processed within 28 days of receipt.
