SMT Rework Operative

Working in the production department of this manufacturing organization you will be undertaking all forms of electronic assembly and related tasks Hours of Work: 38 per week, 7.30 am - 5.30 pm, with half hour lunch break, Monday – Thursday (4 Day Week) Responsibilities: Experience of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) rework Daily operation of SMT Ability to solder, wire and form components Ability to follow written work instructions A keen eye for detail Ability to maintain a high level of concentration Ability to distinguish colours Must possess good manual dexterity and have a good level of literacy and numeracy Must be able to cope with working in different areas of production e.g PCB assembly, general assembly, surface mount, coating, flow solder Ensure shop floor is kept clean and tidy at all times Any other duties that might reasonably be expected of a production operative Education / Experience: SMT rework experience is required as well as general experience of electronic manufacturing. IPC Certification would be desirable.
