Managing Quantity Surveyor - Derby Managing Quantity Surveyor - a Top 10 building contractor is recruiting a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join the senior commercial team based in the East Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to work with one of the most successful building contractors in the UK. They are an award-winning contractor with a track record in securing and delivering land-mark construction projects across education, commercial and high-rise accommodation sectors ranging from £25m - £125m. This is a senior position where you will be responsible managing a team of surveyors delivering education projects (£20m - £80m) and work closely pre-construction team at the bidding stage of new schemes. Roles & Responsibilities: - Managing a team of Quantity Surveyors across multiple sites - Assist in the development and mentoring of the team - Overseeing cost reporting on the projects - Reporting into Commercial Director Requirements: - Experience working on education projects is preferred - Experience managing teams across multiple projects - Experience working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Contractor - Experience working on framework contracts Key Benefits: - Leading Tier 1 Contractor with excellent reputation - Delivering landmark projects across the Midlands - Excellent training, development and staff retention - Office based role with site visits Salary & Package: - Basic salary of £80,000 - £90,000 (DOE) - Company Car or Allowance - Excellent bonus scheme - Healthcare & Pension To qualify for the higher rate of pay you must be able to demonstrate a track record delivering multiple education projects as a Managing Quantity Surveyor for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor.
