Job Description: Are you a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with commercial maintenance experience? Are you looking for a company to offer up skilling and training? They are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer who has experience working within commercial environments carrying out all areas of Electrical maintenance (Mobile role and static role/Shift role) and minor remedial tasks. This is mainly a Monday to Friday role but will require some weekend work and call outs. This will be focused on various commercial sites, the role will be covering DARTFORD and the surrounding areas. Package includes: Salary £43K Core hours Monday to Friday Annual leave (25 days + 8 Bank Holidays) Pension Scheme Training and Development Courses No Use of pool van whilst on site Call out Overtime Requirements / Qualifications: Qualification in either of these are preferred but not essential and clients will look at someone who has time served experience. NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 NVQ Level 3 Electro technical Technology (the main one that includes AM2, ECS, Gold Card, C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection) = ideal qualification City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installations City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection The 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018, wiring regs, the regs) - 17th edition is the slightly older/out of date version but is still accepted by some clients PAT testing Day to Day Duties: Lighting- Change of lamps and ballasts Emergency light testing Power distribution Electrical fault-finding Small works - new sockets, new lights, new circuits PAT Testing Control Panel maintenance Transformers Star Delta Starters Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
