Maintenance Engineer

A leading manufacturer in Cardiff is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support the engineering aspects of their expanding plant. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer to work in a dynamic, process-driven environment. The role is shift based, 4 on 4 off, rotating days and nights. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and minimize production downtime Manage preventative maintenance systems and ensure all equipment is serviced as per schedule Assist with installation and maintenance of new factory equipment Oversee contractor management, ensuring all health & safety protocols are followed Drive improvements in equipment efficiency and participate in cost reduction initiatives Key Requirements: HNC or above in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Proven experience in a manufacturing Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with equipment such as pumps and motors Ability to manage small projects Ability to work in a team-oriented environment This is a hands-on role for someone ready to contribute to a growing facility, with opportunities for career development.
