Heating Engineer

Heating Engineer required for our client, a well-established Renewable Energy company covering works across Heating and Plumbing, Solar PV, Solar Thermal and Heat Pump technology. They are now looking for an experienced Installation Engineer to join their team. Covering a mixture of commercial and residential projects, such as new build developments and retrofit installations, within the Renewables industry, including Solar PV and ASHP across the South East. Heating Engineer Position Remuneration £30,000 - £45,000 DOE 20 days + 8BH Personal Medical Insurance Training / ongoing career development Pension Company vehicle Mileage claimed Phone and LaptopHeating Engineer Position Overview Supervise and lead a team of engineers Complete works with current regulations Ensure installations are completed on time Work well within a team Heat Pump installations, completed to industry standards Technical Surveys Planning & costing Liaise with suppliers Plumbing and Heating installationsHeating Engineer Position Requirements Gas NVQ Level 3 (desirable) Qualifications in low temp heating/heat pumps (desirable) Unvented Qualification Solar PV and ASHP experience Full UK Driving Licence Previous experience as a Lead Engineer / Supervisor Experienced Heating Engineer, ideally from Renewable, Gas or Oil background. A good understanding of working with pressurised systems and open vented systems, along with an understanding of zoning on different types of systems. (essential) A good knowledge of heating and hot water will be required.
