CNC Operator/Setter

Established sheet metal engineering company requires a CNC Operator/Setter to join their expanding team based in Selly Oak.

Previous milling experience is essential to fulfil this role. Within this position you will be offered free car parking, competitive pay rates and an early finish on Friday’s. Offered on a temporary to permanent basis, this role of CNC Operator/Setter is available for immediate start.

Duties and responsibilities of CNC Operator/Setter –

* Set and operate CNC Milling machines

* Using measuring gauges

* Maintain, set and change offsets and inserts

* Ability to complete change overs

* Ability to read and interpret drawings

Skills and attributes required by CNC Operator/Setter –

* Previous experience in CNC operating and setting

* Hurco experience would be an advantage

* High attention to detail

Location: Selly Oak, Worcestershire

Hours of work: 7am-4pm (Monday-Thursday) 7am-1pm (Friday’s)

Pay: £13-£15 per hour
