Job Opportunity: CNC Millers / Programmers (Abingdon)

Location: Abingdon, OX14
Salary: £39,000 - £43,000 per annum
Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:00 - 15:30 Friday: 7:00 - 14:30

Are you an experienced CNC Miller/Programmer looking for a new challenge? Join our team in Abingdon, where you'll have the opportunity to work on complex and large-scale parts with state-of-the-art equipment.

• Operate and Program CNC Mills: Program, set up, and operate all types of CNC mills to achieve the highest standard of quality and safety.
• Precision and Expertise: Work with a tolerance of around 20mm, producing high-quality parts with a "right-first-time" approach.
• Heidenhain & Fanuc Controls: Proficiency in Heidenhain controls is essential, while experience with Fanuc controls is advantageous.
• Large Part Handling: Experience in milling large parts (up to 2.5m) is essential.

• Programming & Operation: Skilled in programming and operating 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines.
• Equipment Proficiency: Experience with brands such as Doosan, Matsuura, and Mazak.
• Quality Control: Competent in using MTE and completing quality reports to ensure consistent high standards.
• Attention to Detail: Able to qualify, document, and verify work using various measuring equipment.

• Innovation: Contribute ideas for time and cost efficiencies in a collaborative environment.
• Independence & Teamwork: Work independently while supporting and mentoring others as needed.
• Safety First: Maintain a safe, organized workspace, using the appropriate PPE.
