We are seeking an experienced Pre-construction Manager with a strong background in steel framing systems, particularly in light gauge steel, to join a reputable construction organisation. This role is vital in overseeing the initial stages of projects, ensuring successful planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the pre-construction process, including project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to develop comprehensive project designs and specifications.
Conduct detailed analyses of project feasibility, costs, and time lines.
Prepare and present project proposals and cost estimates to clients.
Identify potential risks and challenges in the pre-construction phase and develop mitigation strategies.
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the availability of resources and information.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety requirements throughout the pre-construction phase.Qualifications:
Proven experience in pre-construction management within the construction sector, with a focus on steel framing systems and light gauge steel.
Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and industry best practices.
Excellent analytical, organisational, and project management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of fostering collaboration among diverse teams.
Relevant degree or qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
