Head Chef - New Restaurant, Bar & Cafe - East London A brand-new restaurant, bar and café that is due to open in the New Year, is seeking a Head Chef to lead the culinary team and work closely with the Group Executive Chef. As Head Chef, youll be instrumental in the overall running of the kitchen, ensuring the exceptional standards and helping to build a fantastic reputation. Youll work with the best quality seasonal ingredients to create a British inspired small plates style menu for a busy restaurant, as well as a Bar/Café and occasional events. The kitchens have been invested in, are spacious and well equipped. The Person Availability to work 48 hours per week, mixture of shifts Previous experience as a Head Chef (or Senior Sous ready for progression) within fresh food restaurants and sound knowledge of British/European cuisine. Experience with opening a new restaurant would be beneficial, yet not essential. You will need to be passionate about working with the freshest seasonal produce, utilising ingredients from select suppliers, which will be showcased through regularly changing menus and specials. An inspiring leader who will mentor, develop and help to retain a large team of Chefs. Sound financial awareness with experience of ordering and rota writing.
