VGC Group are looking for experienced Pipelayer to start on a project in Plymouth. This contract is available to start on Date and we can offer up to 4 years+ to a successful candidate.

Hours: 10 hour Shift

Contract: Full Time

Experience: 2 years +

Qualifications: CSCS Blue NVQ LVL 2 Groundworker or General Construction

Groundworker with suitable experience

Your role as a Pipelayer will be based in Plymouth and will consist of:

• Full understanding of duties required for Pipelaying, laying large scale pipe of 900mm+ diameter/deep drainage
• Capable of working to instruction with minimal supervision as part of a team.
• Experience in the site preparation for, bases, foundations and trenches.
• Understanding of drainage, kerbing and slabbing.
• Understanding of working in and around plant.
• Experience in excavating foundations.
• A high level of HSQE awareness.

Based in Plymouth remuneration for this role is £19.46 per hour, you will accrue holiday entitlement and be eligible to join the VGC pension scheme once certain criteria have been met.
