Our client is a leading food manufacturing company and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Maintenance Engineer.
The Maintenance Engineer will carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance work at a busy factory near Midhurst.
The Role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the effective planned and reactive maintenance activities in a busy food manufacturing plant.
Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;
- Maintenance and repair of machinery including conveyors, mixers, ovens, presses, rollers, bearings and more
- Hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, gearboxes
- Basic welding and tool room work
- PPM's
- Basic 3 phase electrical repairs, contactors, sensors etc etc
- Some facilities maintenance including lighting, heating etc. etc.
Candidate:
We are seeking a maintenance engineer (mechanical bias) preferably with previous maintenance experience in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment.
You will be a competent engineer with minimum City & guilds or NVQ 3 in maintenance or mechanical engineering.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm
40 hours
