Graduate / Site Engineer – Structural & Civil Engineering
Location: Bethnal Green, London Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (based on experience)
Are you a hands-on Graduate or Junior Site Engineer with 1-2 years of site experience, eager to grow in a high-profile project setting?
We’re looking for a motivated Site Engineer to join our team on an exciting project in Bethnal Green, where you’ll take on key responsibilities, from precise site measurements to quality assurance throughout both dismantle and installation phases. This role offers opportunities for hands-on structural monitoring and skill development in Health & Safety management, technical queries, and daily project tracking.
Key Responsibilities: Measurement, Setting Out, and Levelling: Execute precise site work for dismantling and installation phases. Structural Monitoring: Oversee and document structural integrity across all project phases. As-Built Surveys: Conduct detailed surveys to support project requirements. Documentation: Create method statements, risk assessments, and task briefings. Health & Safety: Ensure a safe work environment with proactive Health & Safety practices. Quality Assurance: Uphold high-quality standards throughout the project. Technical Queries: Raise RFIs to address design and site challenges. Resource Management: Procure and manage materials, equipment, and plant needs. Daily Records: Keep accurate daily diaries of all relevant site activities.
Candidate Requirements: Civil Engineering Background: Minimum HNC in Civil Engineering, with practical site experience. Experience: Ideally, 1-2 years of on-site experience or a completed placement year with substantial site responsibilities. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong engineering skills with a proactive approach to site challenges. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Detail-Oriented and Organized: Able to manage multiple priorities and maintain thorough documentation.
