Financial Controller | Fashion & Media | Hybrid | East London | £50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits Join a rapidly growing company as their first internal finance hire, working closely with the founders to build the finance function from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to shape processes, drive financial strategy, and support the business as it scales. Key Responsibilities: Establish the finance function and align it with business goals. Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with payment agreements. Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts and financial reports. Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate budget variances. Oversee budget preparation, VAT returns, and bank reconciliations. Own year-end accounting processes and payroll. Collaborate with all departments to drive informed financial decisions. Manage cash flow, treasury, and maximise payment terms. Control business systems and provide actionable insights.Qualifications: Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA. Experience in start-ups, D2C, or retail environments preferred (not essential) ERP system experience Flexible and hands-on approach Experienced working in a start-up environment BBBH31847
