Job Title: Assistant Planner / Planner Job Type: Permanent Location: Ipswich Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Working Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday A developing contractor based in Ipswich is seeking an Assistant Planner / Planner from a Commercial or Developing Contractor background. Previous experience is essential for this role. The successful candidate will work directly with the development director to oversee new projects from feasibility through planning to construction and completion of planning obligations. This position offers a unique opportunity to be involved in the full cycle of project development, from inception to completion. Responsibilities for Assistant Planner / Planner: Assist with appraisals and risk registers Direct and understand survey requirements Liaise with consultants and local authorities Coordinate project activities Work closely with the construction team to fulfill planning obligations Requirements for Assistant Planner / Planner: Background in Design and Build Contracting Experience in converting buildings to residential units Comfortable and confident in client-facing roles Highly organised and capable of meeting deadlines Previous experience in a commercial or construction management environment Good understanding of construction technology Benefits: Competitive Salary + Package  Working Hours: Standard hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
