SEO Manager - £50K/yrRole overview Itineris is a multi-award-winning full-service digital agency working with a range of corporate, education and charity clients. We are a London based, with a talented team of marketing strategists, organic and paid specialists, creatives and developers. We believe that with the right information and expertise, anything is possible. Our agency is growing fast and as a SEO Manager, your main responsibilities will be leading the organic growth of our clients by supporting all verticals including technical SEO, off-site, on-page optimisations and content strategy. This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week in our trendy Shoreditch office. Responsibilities and dutiesWorking with both B2B and B2C clients in the professional services, technology, education and not-for-profit sectors Translate business objectives into digital SEO roadmaps that are likely to deliver the best return Planning and management of all SEO activity focused on clients’ objectives and KPIs, ensuring all work is delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard Identifying client opportunities and presenting them clearly to the clients themselves Keyword research and competitor benchmarking analysis which informs the organic strategy both on-site and off-site Content gap analysis and client content briefing creation of educational, best-practice documents for internal and external purposes Conduct fact-checking and ensure that all information presented in the content is accurate, reliable, and supported by credible sources. Monitoring of updates and analysis of client performance fluctuations Advanced performance analysis, including ad hoc, monthly and quarterly reporting Client account management, supporting ad hoc queries and maintaining positive relationships Proactively communicating key information - at the correct level of detail - to all project stakeholders (internal and external). Keeping up-to-date with the latest SEO news, developments and landscape changes Supporting the business development managers during new business projects and proposals Working with the design, UX and build teams to create technically sound, SEO-friendly websites RequirementsWe’re looking for someone who takes ownership, so you’ll need to be smart (brains not suit), ambitious and a natural communicator with both clients and colleagues. You will need at least 5 years’ experience delivering SEO campaigns for your clients and should be able to demonstrate an excellent level of competence across the breadth of SEO. Our ideal candidate will have the following requirements: A proven track record working on multiple accounts simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Excellent time management, attention to detail and organisational skills An ability to communicate complex and technical information to non-technical people Strong written and verbal communication skills - managing client communications throughout the full SEO project lifecycle. Able to talk business and marketing interchangeably An appetite for taking ownership and clear enthusiasm for digital marketing, technical challenges and content. Experience delivering SEO-driven content strategies which improve organic visibility and website authority Experience writing SEO content briefs and high-quality content, continuously optimising pages and content to improve the sites' E-E-A-T.
