Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor Location: Basildon, Essex Salary/Benefits: £24k - £42k + Training & Benefits Our Client is a successful Asbestos company, with new contracts in the South East of England. They are seeking a knowledgeable Asbestos Surveyor to join their friendly and curated team, to cover a range of Commercial, Local Authority and Domestic Client sites. Locations of work include: Basildon, Chelmsford, Romford, Enfield, Harlow, Bishop's Stortford, Billericay, Southend-on-Sea, Dartford, Gravesend, Orpington, Chatham, Bromley, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Redhill, Croydon, Epsom, Kingston upon Thames, Woking, Guildford, Camberley, Bracknell, Hounslow, Slough, Southall, Harrow, Wembley, Watford, St Albans, Luton, Stevenage. Experience / Qualifications: - Must hold the BOHS P402 qualification (or RSPH equivalent) as a minimum - Will have experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor for a well-established outfit - Holding other P-Certificates ( P403 & P404 ) would be beneficial but not essential - Strong report writing ability - Comfortable using IT applications and software The Role: - Conducting Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Asbestos surveys across a range of sites - Writing detailed accompanying reports and producing schematic drawings - Representing the company in a professional manner and providing a high level of service to Clients - Assisting with training of new members of staff when required - Travelling as per company requirements - Working in accordance with UKAS and HSG guidelines Alternative job titles: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, Asbestos Consultant.
