Electrician - Commercial Project

Rate: 24 per hour
My client, a well-established electrical contractor based in West Yorkshire, is currently seeking a skilled Electrician for a commercial project in York. The company operates throughout the North of England, providing high-quality electrical services for commercial and industrial sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrician looking to work on a reputable project with competitive pay.
Electrician Roles and Responsibilities
- Health and Safety: Must adhere to safety regulations and use personal protective equipment to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and others on the site.
- Electrical Installations: Carry out electrical installations, including wiring, lighting, and power distribution, in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Testing and Inspection: Perform testing and inspection of electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and comply with safety regulations.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose electrical issues and carry out repairs or replacements as necessary.
- Compliance: Ensure all work is compliant with the latest electrical standards and building regulations.
Electrician Requirements
- Appropriate ECS Card.
- Qualified to 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
- Experience working on commercial projects, ideally for a main contractor.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Electrician Benefits
- 24 per hour.
- 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
- Opportunity for additional overtime.
