Staying Well is an innovative service offering out-of-hours support (16:0023:00 Mon Fri and 15:0023:00 Sat Sun),open 7 days a week, 365 days a year to people experiencing acute distress due to their mental health difficulties.
Youwill be providing psychosocial support and crisis prevention planning. This includes contacting clients who have been referred or self-referred to the service to build safety plans together and supporting clients to increase their resilience and coping skills. You will need to demonstrate your own resilience and the ability to work autonomously. Ideal candidates will have a good understanding of local NHS/Community support services and experience of working with people with mental health difficulties.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in supporting an innovative service to contribute to the crisis prevention and urgent care support systems within the county and to gain valuable knowledge and training within this sector.
All roles involve working up to 11pm at night and can include weekend working.
