The school – SEMH Teaching Assistant The school, based in the London Borough of Brent, is a Primary Independent Therapeutic school devoted to providing a nurturing haven for its pupils with SEMH needs, where mainstream school was either not suitable or inaccessible for them. The position – SEMH Teaching Assistant A successful SEN Teaching Assistant will ideally have experience of working with special needs students aged between 5 TO 11 years old and have a background in supporting students with a variety of Learning Difficulties and physical complexities. The SEMH Teaching Assistant’s focus will be a professional and passionate approach to developing life skills and independence for the young people they will be supporting.
