Production Planning Manager

We are partnered with a leading manufacturing business based in Halifax. This business are expanding and have ambitious plans to grow over the next two years. The role we are advertising plays a big part in those plans. The Person: * Experienced in a Manufacturing setting. * Previous production planning experience. * Experienced in all forms of Microsoft office. The Role: * To be a key member of the manufacturing management team and contribute to the overall strategy for the supply chain and operation of the business. * Be a strong business partner to the purchasing team to ensure material availability, stock levels balanced and to match production plan. * Manage engineering changes effectively. * Create and actively progress and manage production plans. * Automate current process flow from customer order to FG’s. * Support the Implementation of planning tool software. * Key stakeholder in SAP implementation. * Works with manufacturing to provide the most efficient and robust plans.
