Role Overview:

You will be an integral part of the Commercial team working for our brand Nuttall and based in Dudley, DY2. Helping shape the industry for nearly 60 years, Nuttall is the UK s foremost specialist in the design, manufacture and installation of retail environments.

You will be our go to person for delivering projects on time and within the required criteria. You will astound us by running, administering and organising all project activities in co-operation with the Commercial Manager, together achieving flawlessly executed projects.

All you need to do is manage the cost of projects, determine client needs, calculate costs and timelines, monitor progress and make sure projects progress efficiently, affordably and safely.

  • Maintain, develop and provide estimates, reports, final accounts for client projects or internal use, including cost estimates, work time estimates, cost analysis and overall stakeholder satisfaction
  • Lead solution development efforts and co-ordinate the involvement of personnel, including support, service, and resources, to meet objectives and expectations
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope
  • Presentation of finished estimates/CVR to sales/contracts team prior to submittal to the client
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Prepare cost budgets and estimates for new customers or projects
  • Keep existing contracts up to date, including making amendments, providing new cost estimates, and maintaining communication with the stakeholder
  • Analyse and provide financial reports
  • Prepare detailed, well-written proposals for each client
  • Work with contracts manager and design team to help with development, innovation, and creativity on client projects
  • Manage all cost reports covering; schedule of rates, bills of quants, cost estimates, final accounts, CVR, valuation applications, invoicing.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, estimate logs, cost database, master templates
  • Integration with the IBS system and management of costs held within the database

You re All We Need:

  • Minimum 2 years industrial experience in an equivalent role in the fabrication/manufacturing industry
  • Excellent team player whilst also holding the ability to work independently on own initiative
  • Excellent time management skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to encourage and support other members of the commercial team and develop productive, professional relationships with key stakeholders and clients
  • Must be computer literate (Excel, Word, MS Projects etc)
  • Experience with IBS (MRP) Bluebeam would be advantageous
  • Understanding of project control management, analysis and implementation.
