We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Branch Manager.
Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the Assistant Branch Manager will have previous experience in the trade supply of uPVC & Aluminium building products that include Windows, Doors, Fascia, Soffit, Guttering etc.
Assistant Branch Manager Responsibilities:
* To assist the Branch manager in the achievement of their objective
* Driving sales and profitability
* To assist in areas of sales, customer service & stock control
* To provided other support as determined by the Branch Manager
* Quoting and selling of the uPVC product range to customers
* Managing cash, banking and payment schemes in accordance with company procedure and policies.
* Liaising and utilising support from suppliers, merchandisers and other partners as required at all times observing authorisation levels set.
* Reporting information on costs, sales and business performance
* Managing daily delivery and dispatch process and ensuring correct routing
* Ensuring invoices, sales orders and credit notes are entered onto the system within a set time frame
* Maintain Health and Safety standards in line with current legislation
* Maintain a high standard cleanliness and tidiness throughout the branch
* To manage colleagues and build strong customer relationships is a critical element of this position
Key experiences and qualifications:
* Must have good communication and organisational skills
* A firm understanding of what makes for a superior customer experience
* Self-motivated and driven
* PC Literate
* Previous experience in a branch (Trade Counter) environment would be advantageous
* A full UK Driving licence is required
