Head of SalesWe’re looking for a Head of Sales who will take full ownership of our growing sales function - building and scaling a repeatable sales process and accelerating our landgrab in the healthtech SaaS space.This is the perfect role for a talented, inspiring sales leader who wants a chance to develop and scale a sales function in a rapidly growing tech company, as well as personally own the sales process of our biggest target accounts.Who is HealtheraHealthera is an exciting health-tech business that is growing rapidly and looking for a driven Head of Sales to take full responsibility for the sales function. Healthera provides patients with medicines, healthcare services and products through the largest digital platform of pharmacies in the UK, including national chains and independent providers.Already working in partnership with over 1,600 pharmacies across the UK (that is over 10% of all UK pharmacies), Healthera’s proven SaaS platform offering has won the business of some of UK’s largest and most influential pharmacy chains such as Superdrug, Alliance Healthcare, etc. Now, our mission is to bring this platform and digital capability to 3000+ more pharmacies over the next 3 years - and you’ll be responsible for leading the charge.Role OverviewAs Head of Sales, your key goal will be to keep our expanding sales team hitting their sales and revenue targets.This will include holding regular team meetings to ensure targets are being met, monitoring performance & activity, coaching and mentoring the sales team, hiring new sales team members, and being on top of the pipeline, sales KPI and forecasts.You will be building playbooks, implementing improvements to our CRM database, as well as improving the overall operational efficiencies of the pre and post-sales processes.In addition, you’ll be excited at the prospect of personally handling the sales and ongoing relationship/project management with some of the biggest pharmacy chains in the country.Key ResponsibilitiesLead from the front - Work strategically to ensure every member of your team hits their targetsTraining & Development - design and deliver frequent sales coaching to BDM’s and SDR’s, to improve cold outreach, pitches, virtual and in-person demonstrations and lead closingStrategy - support the SMT to build monthly and quarterly strategiesOffer Building - consistently review and improve the positioning of our sales offering, pricing and offersGet stuck in - take a leading hand in pitching and contract negotiations for larger dealsKPI’s - set data-driven targets and expectationsTools - manage the sales-side of our CRM, and build on the use of additional tools and softwares to improve the sales team internally and externallyRecruitment - hire into and grow the existing sales teamThe PersonYou’ll be a natural-born leader with a clear ability to inspire your team and keep them motivated, even when targets seem out of reachYou’ll have excellent communication and adaptability, with the ability to work with all throughout the business to grow revenue opportunitiesYou will have demonstrated experience in building and optimising sales processes and materialYou’ll be experienced with frontline sales work (ideally via video calling, cold calling, and in-person selling) and comfortable closing large dealsYou’ll be data-driven and understand the importance of tracking metrics, and subsequently how to utilise them when developing targets and strategiesYou’ll be able to stay cool under pressure and keep your focus on the bigger picture of driving revenueRequirementsSaaS sales leadership experience is requiredExperience with high-velocity selling to SMBs with short sales cyclesAt least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, leading sales teams in a fast paced and dynamic scaleup/start-up environment, demonstrating consistent results with a strong understanding of processes, targets, and strategiesHave scaled and built a sales team before - from hiring, training, process-building, developing playbooks, to ongoing KPI managementDemonstrated track record of exceeding sales team targetsHealthcare sector experience is good to haveProficiency in sales training, strategy design / implementation, and people management.Good experience producing customer presentations and delivering them at a high levelExcellent commercial acumen in decision-making and deliveryExperience in a fast-paced environment, whilst maintaining clear communication and strategy deliveryBachelor's degree or higher is desirableWe offerAn excellent opportunity to contribute to and be a part of building and delivering a scaling business strategy in a unique spaceCompetitive salary and commission/bonus structure based on performanceShare options to directly benefit from the growth of the businessPrivate health insurance and thousands of pounds worth of health & wellbeing-related perksGrowth opportunities within the roleExperienced team, fun working environmentBespoke training based on personal goals and ambitionsOn-site work required at least 3-4 days per week.
