Salut! - Independent Restaurant - Islington
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and motivated Sous Chef to join our team at Salut! In Islington! Ideally, the perfect candidate will have experience working in a comparable restaurant within a fast-paced environment.
We have an approved Uk Sponsor license and can sponsor individuals from outside the UK.
As part of a dynamic and friendly team, the ideal applicants will: Have a good command of the English language Be very well organised Have advanced kitchen skills Have a passion for food and its presentation
Key Job Responsibilities: To ensure the correct preparation, cooking and presentation of food in all sections of the kitchen To demonstrate full compliance with all aspects of food hygiene and health & safety To ensure the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene, both personal and in the working area To manage of the kitchen on a day to day basis, take charge in the training of all new staff An ability to work well under pressure is key, and the ideal candidate should be able to work well both individually and as part of a team - To help plan menus, calculate costings and ensure everything runs like clockwork
Who we are Salut! Islington is an independent 28 cover Restaurant opened in December 2015 serving a Modern European, seasonal menu. We open Friday to Sunday for lunch and 7 days a week for dinner.
Sous Chef / 42k per year / including service charge. 28 day holiday a year. 5 days on, 2 days off, Meals on duty.
